He has helped build innovative neurological programs, including a Comprehensive Stroke Center and telestroke services across multiple hospitals, and has trained future healthcare providers through nurse practitioner residency and neurocritical care fellowship programs.

Dr. Mittal has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and has served in multiple leadership roles, but his approach remains deeply personal.
